Being the eldest prince of Nohr, one of the kingdoms featured, Xander is a key character in the game since he has trained with the player, known as Corrin in the English version by default. Nohr is known as a dark place yet has riches and focuses on strength and conquest. Thus the title route of its side known as "Conquest". The player must choose to either play that, or a different route, though the preferred order is Birthright, Conquest, and then Revelations.
